Preparing the boat for a new season

In New jersey Labor Day is the official end of the summer. They are closing the swimming pool and it is time to think about the soon coming snow. In Florida, it is an other story. Labor day is the middle of the hurricane season, but also the end  (or almost) of a hot and humid summer.

The big mission for the week-end was to install the new anchor on the boat. It is a Mantus 35 lb that should give me better sleep quality at the anchorage.

Assembling the anchor was easy enough and by mid-day the anchor was installed.

The next day we spent the day cleaning the boat and fixing a leak. Because of Tropical Storm Gordon heading our way we couldn’t stay out overnight and we decided to start our bed project ! This is for next time
